Do I need this for every game?
No. Some Xbox cloud games already support keyboard and mouse natively. Use that when it works for you. Cloud Keys adds controller emulation and personalized gamepad mappings.
Which browsers and controllers work?
Cloud Keys is built for desktop Chrome. Gamepad remapping requires a controller Chrome recognizes with a standard layout. Custom-axis controllers, wheels, and pedals aren’t supported yet. Disable other remapping extensions to avoid double inputs.
Will aiming feel like a native PC game?
Not exactly. Mouse movement becomes controller-stick input, so the game’s turn-speed and acceleration limits still apply. Adjust the game’s own sensitivity alongside Cloud Keys. Compatibility and feel vary by game.
How does the free trial work?
Install Cloud Keys and everything works, with no card needed. The trial counts days you actually play: a day is used only when you open an Xbox game with Cloud Keys switched on. After 3 play days, a one-time $5 license keeps it working, and your saved controls stay as they are.
What’s included in the $5?
A one-time Cloud Keys license for keyboard, mouse, and gamepad remapping. Xbox accounts, games, and any required cloud-gaming subscription are separate. It works on up to three browsers, and there’s a 7-day refund if it’s not for you.
Do my controls sync between computers?
Your custom controls are saved locally in each browser. Everyone gets the same recommended keyboard presets from our server, but your personal changes aren’t uploaded or synced between computers.
